Efforts continue to train qualified human resources in 5G Valley on 5G and Beyond topics. The 5G and Beyond Joint Graduate Support Program aims to train qualified human resources to work in information, communication, and telecommunications technologies, as well as digital transformation subjects.
It is anticipated that the qualified human resources receiving educational support under the 5G and Beyond Joint Graduate Support Program will play a critical role in the development of domestic and national high value-added products and technologies that will take place in our country and global markets. Additionally, the program aims for the supported students to build sustainable competencies in advanced communication technologies and to produce outputs in various forms such as patents, projects, and articles through their thesis studies.
Students accepted to the program continue their master's and doctoral studies in the 5G field at METU, Hacettepe, or Bilkent Universities while gaining the opportunity to develop themselves in 5G and Beyond technologies under the professional guidance of mobile operators.
Those who wish to join the program must first be accepted to master's or doctoral programs in the Electrical-Electronics and Computer Engineering departments at METU, Hacettepe, and Bilkent Universities.
In this context, applications for the 5G and Beyond Joint Graduate Support Program for the Spring Semester of the 2021-2022 Academic Year have started for students accepted to master's and doctoral programs in the Electrical-Electronics and Computer Engineering departments at METU, Bilkent, and Hacettepe Universities.
The Application Form and detailed information about the Support Program are available in the documents below. Applications must be made to the universities where the candidates are enrolled, both in person and via e-mail. The relevant contact information of the universities is provided below. Interviews will be conducted via video conference.
