INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST ASSISTANT ENTRANCE EXAM ANNOUNCEMENT
1. General Information
Information Technologies and Communication Authority's central organization service units will recruit Information Technology Specialist Assistants through an entrance exam consisting of written and oral stages.
A total of 82 (eighty-two) Information Technology Specialist Assistants will be appointed to positions in the 8th and 9th degrees of the General Administrative Services Class, with their fields/departments and quotas listed below:

2. Conditions for Participating in the Exam
To participate in the entrance exam;
a) Meet the general conditions specified in Article 48 of the State Civil Servants Law No. 657,
b) Be a graduate of faculties providing at least four years of undergraduate education in political sciences, economics and administrative sciences, economics and business faculties or departments, law faculties, or engineering fields such as electrical-electronics, electronics, electronics and communication, industrial and computer engineering, or mathematics departments from higher education institutions in Turkey or abroad whose equivalence has been recognized by the Council of Higher Education,
c) Not have completed 35 years of age as of January 1, 2022 (those born on or after 01/01/1987).
d) Have obtained at least 50 points in English from the Foreign Language Proficiency Exam (YDS) or an equivalent score from another internationally recognized exam accepted as equivalent in terms of language proficiency,
e) In the Public Personnel Selection Exam (KPSS) conducted for Group A positions in 2020 and 2021, have obtained at least 70 points from the score types specified below according to the fields, and be among the candidates ranked from highest to lowest score within the applicants for each field, up to 20 times the number of vacancies in the applied field:
· Law field: KPSSP4,

· Engineering and Mathematics fields: KPSSP2
score types.
Candidates who have the same score as the last candidate in each field are also eligible to take the entrance exam.
3. Application and Application Documents
Applications will be made electronically only through e-Government (Information Technologies and Communication Authority/Career Gateway) and the Career Gateway https://isealimkariyerkapisi.cbiko.gov.tr/ internet addresses, starting on Friday, April 1, 2022, and ending at 23:59 on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.
Only applications made through the Career Gateway-Public Recruitment Platform will be valid; applications not meeting the conditions specified in the announcement and applications made to our Institution by hand, mail, or e-mail will not be processed.
For candidates who graduated from departments equivalent to those where recruitment will take place or from universities abroad whose equivalence is recognized, it is mandatory to attach the relevant document to the "Equivalence/Equivalency Document" field under the "Additional File" stage during the application on Career Gateway for their applications to be evaluated.
Exams of those found to have made false statements in their application documents will be invalidated, and their appointments will not be made. If their appointments have been made, they will be canceled, and a criminal complaint will be filed with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Additionally, those who mislead the Institution in this way, if they are public servants, will be reported to their employing institutions.
4. Exam and Evaluation
Candidates to take the written exam will be announced on the Institution's official website. The candidates listed in the announcement will first take the written exam. The written exam will be held in Ankara on May 14-15, 2022 (exam place and time will be published on our Institution's web page following the closure of applications).
Among the candidates who take the written exam, starting from the highest score, up to 4 times the number of vacant positions according to learning fields will be considered successful and eligible for the oral exam. Candidates with the same score as the last candidate in each field will also be invited to the oral exam. Candidates to take the oral exam will be announced on the Institution's official website. They will also be notified via e-mail or SMS.
Candidates must obtain at least 70 points in both written and oral exams to be successful. The arithmetic average of the written and oral scores of those who succeed in both exams will be taken as their entrance exam score, and their success ranking will be determined according to their application fields. As many candidates as the number of vacant positions indicated in the announcement will be considered successful. Provided they succeed in the entrance exam, up to half of the number of vacant positions according to learning fields will also be designated as reserve candidates.
Exam results and the necessary documents to be requested from successful candidates for appointment will be announced on the Institution's official website and sent to candidates via e-mail or SMS. Additionally, notifications will be sent by mail to candidates on the main and reserve lists.

6. Other Matters
Those found not to meet the exam participation conditions later will not be admitted to the exam. Exams of those who have taken the exam will be invalidated, and their appointments, even if made, will be canceled.
Candidates must have their ID card, driver's license, or passport with them during the exam. Those without any of these will not be admitted to the exam.
