It has been decided to extend the transition period determined within the scope of the deregulation of the Mobile Network Access and Call Initiation Market for one year.

With the Board Decision dated 12/04/2017 and numbered 2017/DK-SRD/124, which was approved and entered into force, the one-year transition period determined within the scope of the deregulation of the ‘Access to Mobile Networks and Call Initiation Market’; in order to evaluate various operator applications containing competitive concerns submitted to our Institution, has been extended by one more year until 12/04/2019 with the Board Decision dated 04/04/2018 and numbered 2018/DK-SRD/104, and it has been decided that the obligations imposed on Turkcell, designated as the operator with significant market power within the scope of the ‘Access to Mobile Networks and Call Initiation Market’ Final Document, approved and entered into force with the Board Decision dated 22/03/2018 and numbered 2018/DK-SRD/93, shall remain valid during this period.
