With the Board Decision dated 06.12.2016 and numbered 2016/DK/482 regarding the regulation on the Procedures and Principles for the Use of Calling Line Identification (CLI);
“1. Article 4, paragraph 3 of the Procedures and Principles for the Use of Calling Line Identification (CLI), titled 'Formation of CLI';
the number found in the 'calling number' field within Call Detail Records (CDR) and signaling information must be in E.164 format as '90+Area Code+7-Digit Subscriber Number' and this number must be included in the subscriber registry information sent to our Institution by the operators."
2. At the end of the second paragraph of Article 6 of the Procedures and Principles for the Use of Calling Line Identification (CLI);
"With the reservation of other provisions regarding CLI, in calls originating from abroad; if it is determined that the number format determined by the operator under this paragraph conflicts with the number formats they have according to the national numbering plans of the relevant countries, these calls are not blocked and the numbers detected to conflict are notified to the Authority. Calls from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) originating from numbers allocated to operators in the TRNC from our country's numbering resources are not blocked.”
3. Operators are granted two (2) months to comply with the matters specified in the first article of this Board Decision”
